A large growing European Beech. Small dark green leaves are round and turn yellow in fall. Somewhat columnar, grows 50′ high by 40′ wide.

Origin
Originated as a sport of Fagus sylvatica 'Rotundifolia'. Found at Hillier Nursery of England in 1960.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
