Japanese White Pine - Deep or Profound
A dwarf, variegated Japanese White Pine. Pyramidal, short blue-green needles are frosted yellowish-white. Variegation is most pronounced during its new spring growth, gradually fading as the season progresses. Grows 3′ high by 1.5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a seedling by Tage Lundell of Sweden before 1975.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
