Acer palmatum ‘Aureum’

Japanese Maple - Golden

Not to be confused with the Golden Fullmoon Maple (Acer shirasawanum ‘Aureum’ which has brighter and fuller foliage. This Japanese Maple, leafs out yellow in colour that can become more limeish-yellow by late summer. The more sun it gets the brighter the yellow colour. By fall it becomes even brighter in yellow. Grows 10′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
