Acer palmatum ‘Beni hime’

Acer palmatum ‘Beni hime’

Japanese Maple - Red Dwarf

This dwarf Japanese Maple features prehaps the smallest leaves of all the red-leafed varieties! Star-shaped leaves are clustered on short stocks making it very dense and compact. Leaves emerge a pale pink to rusty-red colour in the spring with colours intensifying with more sun exposure. The leaves fade to green by summer starting from the centers and transition to a stunning red in the fall. Grows 2-3′ high and wide in a 10 year period.
