Japanese Maple - Peve Ollie
A medium sized Japanese Maple with large, thick, slightly twisting leaves. Foliage emerges purple in spring and holds onto its colouration through summer till fall, when it transitions to scarlet red. Grows 8′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Piet Vergeldt of The Netherlands.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
