Eastern Redbud - Pink Heartbreaker
NATIVAR – A vigorous weeping Eastern Redbud. Pink pea-like flowers (more pink than other varieties) cover strong weeping criss-crossing branches in early spring before foliage. Heart-shaped leaves emerge light-green darking by summer and turn yellow in fall. Grows 12′ high and wide.

Origin
Selected from a batch of Cercis canadensis seedlings by Donald Eaton of Pennsylvania in 2002.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun. Shelter from winter winds.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay or very sandy dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning to shape right after flowering. Remove dead wood in early spring.
