Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Nana’
Cypress - Hinoki - Nana
One of the original dwarf Hinoki Cypress which is actually more of a miniature. Very slow growing. Forms a flat globe of dark green, twisted branchlets which can become a bit more conical with age. Grows 10″ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated from Japan. Introduced by P.F. van Siebold of The Netherlands in 1860.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various well draining soils, preferring slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
