Cypress - Sawara - Sungold
A dwarf golden threadleaf Sawara Cypress. Similar to ‘Filifera Aurea’ but with coarser branching. Does not burn in sun. Grows 3′ high by 4.5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a seedling from Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Filifera Aurea' by Gordon Bentham of British Columbia in the mid 1960s.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various well draining soils, preferring slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
