
Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Silver Lode’
Cypress - Sawara - Silver Lode
A dwarf variegated Sawara Cypress. Similar to ‘Gold Dust’ but more whitish marking. Forms a flat top mound of green foliage with white flecks throughout. Grows 15″ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a sport on Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Minima Aurea' by Gordan Bentham of British Columbia before 1985.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various well draining soils, preferring slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
