Witch Hazel - Hybrid - Orange Peel
A medium growing Witch Hazel. Fragrant flowers are born on bare stems during mid-to-late winter. The orange coloured petals are wider than most other varieties giving it a unique appearance along with a purple calyx. Dark green leaves turn various shades of yellow, orange and red during fall. Grows 10′ high and wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by the De Belder family of Belgium in 1988.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various soils but prefers a well draining one, slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective trimming in spring right after the flowers have finished. Do not trim in fall, as flower buds have already been set.
