Austrian Pine - Hornibrookiana
A dwarf Austrian Pine with stiff horizontal branches forming a broad shrubby plant. Densely bunched needles are rich, glossy dark green. Grows 2′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a witch's broom on Pinus nigra (species) by B.H. Slavín in Seneca Park, New York before 1932.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Salt tolerant.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
